Grassano Wins the Eni Safety Award 2018

An important honour for Grassano and for the entire Riccoboni Holding Group, this award recognises the care that the company has put into its workers’ safety over the years. Last week, in San Donato Milanese, Eni selected Grassano to receive the Eni Safety Award 2018, an honour that it reserves for its suppliers who have performed best when it comes to safety (based on feedback it receives from the locations where it has worked) and who have also stood out in terms of their companies’ commitment. Claudio Cabri and Marco Riccoboni accepted the prize for Best Performer in the Environmental Services category on behalf of Grassano SpA.

The Eni Safety Award is one of the initiatives Eni sponsors for Safety Day. Every year since 2013, the company has awarded prizes for: the industrial companies in each business sector who have had the best outcomes in terms of safety; the special and innovative projects that have made it possible to combine the operational efficiency of industrial processes with operational safety; and for the suppliers of the categories of goods that are most critical in terms of HSE risk profile who have achieved the best safety outcomes.

Several years ago, Riccoboni Holding instituted Safety Day for all of its employees, with a range of initiatives intended for all of its personnel, the most recent of which involved the staff coming together to choose a logo and a slogan, “Wind of Safety”, as part of the internal “Our Safety Vision” competition. By involving all of the staff, this project created space for in-depth reflection on safety-related topics and for the sharing of inspiration and ideas.
