WHERE ARE YOU GOING? THE DILEMMAS OF CURRENT TIMES
Companies meet in Alessandria to discuss the key issues of Trento’s Festival of Economics
Angelo Riccoboni, the Group’s CEO, took part together with other entrepreneurs in the Talk “Quo vadis? I dilemmi del nostro tempo” (Where are you going? The dilemmas of current times), discussing issues with the editor-in-chief of Il Sole 24 Ore, Fabio Tamburini, at Palazzo Monferrato in Alessandria.
Representing the business community in Alessandria, Angelo Riccoboni was joined by Debora Paglieri, Fabio Rossello, Vitaliano Maccario and Gianluca Muzio.
During the meeting, organised by the Il Piccolo newspaper and moderated by its editor-in-chief Alberto Marello, Angelo Riccoboni drew the attention of Mr Tamburini and the audience to the issue of industrial waste management and Italy’s network of plants, which is suffering from a lack of facilities: the ecological transition cannot play second fiddle to bureaucratic obligations, but rather they must be able to adapt to technological development and to the mitigation of regulatory-legislative risks that fall under industrial operators’ responsibility.
Another topic raised by Angelo Riccoboni was safe, controlled waste management as a way to defeat the ecomafia: in fact, the waste sector is mainly formed of operators who do their jobs legally and with dedication, in accordance with the rules. Here at the Riccoboni Group, we have been working with respect for environmental protection for 60 years, focusing on the quality of life and good health of today’s generation and of generations to come.
